Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Frank W. Blain, passed away April 19, 1998 at age 80 in Salt Lake City.
Born April 24, 1917 in Salt Lake City to Mary Christiansen and Joseph DeLoss Blain. He was employed as Machine Tools salesman for many years. He was an outstanding salesman, was a people person and friend to many. A great fisherman and spent many fun times with family and friends at cabin at Flaming Gorge. World War II Navy Seabee veteran.He is survived by wife, Shirley of 59 years; two children, son, Dennis DeLoss Blain, of Salt Lake; daughter, Julie Blain Driscoll, of Sacramento, CA; six grandchildren, Dadri Blain Laine, of Scotts Valley, CA; Douglas DeLoss Blain, Christopher Blain, Chelsea Blain, of Sandy; Darren Allen Driscoll, Danyelle Driscoll, of Sacramento, CA; one great-grandchild, Justin R. Laine, of Scotts Valley, CA; sister, Margaret Jensen, Tooele.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 23, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 So. 1700 E. Sandy, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
We will always remember you, Dad, your funny jokes and your sense of humor. We will never forget you.
