Dale Raymond Wilde slipped peacefully back into his Father in Heaven's arms, on April 18, 1998, at home with his loving, beautiful wife at his side.

Born March 1, 1912 in Coalville, Utah to Amelia Louise Clayton and Oswald Springthorpe Wilde.He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary; his children, Ellen (Jack), Mary Jo (Garry), Ray (Jennifer), Clayton (Shawna); and a brother, Oswald Wilde.

Dale was born in a loving LDS home of humble beginnings and with the help of many loving family members he was taught determination and an unending work ethic. With determination and hard work he graduated second in his class in 1936, from the University of Utah in Mechanical Engineering. His career spanned 60 years starting at Holley, William and Richardson and ending only two years ago at Dale R. Wilde Company. This company continues today under his influence. This same influence touched many both in business and in his personal life. Those who knew him will remember his loving nature, careful exacting way, quiet determination and his commitment to right.

His family of four children and spouses, 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren will carry forward his great spirit. He will be missed by all...

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on April 22, 1998 in Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, where friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
