West High School principal Joyce Gray, an educational administration doctoral student at the University of Utah, is one of six educators nationally to win the 1998 Worth McClure Educational Administration Scholarship.

The award is sponsored by the American Association of School Administrators, which offers the scholarships to encourage men and women of demonstrated competence to prepare for a career in the public school superintendency.Gray, who was nominated by the U. Graduate School of Education educational administration department, received her award at the AASA's national convention in San Diego Feb. 27-March 1.
