Clark Mangum, age 57, passed away April 18, 1998 at his home.
Born April 16, 1941 in Huntington, Utah to Darwin and Leola Grange Mangum. Married Judie Douglas, October 3, 1992 in Elko, Nevada. Member of the LDS Church. Lifelong resident of Emery County. Served in the US Navy.Clark was loved by those who knew him and he spent many years serving others. Even though he had a handicap, it never got in the way of his ability to care for those in need. This special talent was exhibited through the constant love he showed his parents, brothers, sisters and their families. the highlight of his life these past years was the love he shared with his wife, children and precious grandchildren.
We'll all miss him, but we're so thankful for the good memories he left us.
Survived by his wife, Judie Douglas Mangum; one daughter, two sons and their spouses, Brandi and Kip Ivie, Mike and Brenda Horton, Mitch Horton, all of Huntington; brothers and sisters, Jethro and Jean Killpack, Brigham City; Edward and Marjorie Tomsic, Moab; James and Shirley Mangum, Orem; Wells and Mamie Noyes, West Valley; Donald and Doris Mangum, Emery; Jerry and Margaret Mangum, Emery; Dale and Rose Ungerman, Huntington; Monty and Marcie Mangum, Huntington; Bob and Carol Norton, Salt Lake City; Lynn Mangum, Emery; six loving grandchildren, Kielie, Louie, Nichole and Kammi Ivie; and Colby and Garrett Horton. Preceded in death by parents, sister, Grace and brother, Elbert.
Funeral service Tuesday, April 21, 1998, 1 p.m. at the Huntington First LDS Ward Chapel. Family will be at the church Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment: Huntington City Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home, Price.
