Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Eva Forsyth Taylor Albrecht, passed away Friday, April 17, 1998 at the age of 79 in Salt Lake City, of causes incident to age.
She was born December 28, 1918 in Teasdale, Utah, a daughter of Charles Simmons and Emma DeLeeuw Forsyth. She graduated from Wayne High School, Class of 1936. She married Warren J. Taylor, May 27, 1937 in Loa, Utah. He died September 18, 1980. She married Howard Albrecht in October of 1988 in Richfield, Utah.She was a member of the LDS Church and had lived her entire life in Wayne County surrounded by the beautiful environment and the friends that she loved. Her interests were her family and her home, the outdoors, fishing, her garden and flowers. Eva worked at Intermountain Farmers in Loa for many years. She was an exceptional cook and hostess.
She is survived by her husband, Howard, of Salina; her children, Larry and Shirley Taylor of Taylorsville; Ramon and Charles DeLoy Ellett of West Valley City; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Charles D. Forsyth of American Fork; Vard Forsyth of Taylorsville; Joy Mecham of Hanksville; and the extended Albrecht family. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson and two sisters, Lola Bushnell and Coa Sirola.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Garden Terrace Staff for their kindness and special care shown to their mother during her stay with them.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 21, 1998 at 12 noon in the Loa Stake Tabernacle in Loa, Utah. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the Tabernacle in Loa, Tuesday morning from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Loa Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
