Holly Elaine Baxter Keddington, 99, passed away April 14, 1998 in Sandy, Utah.
Born March 24, 1899 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Samuel Emerson Baxter and Lotta Robina Paul. Married Ralph B. Keddington, Sr. on June 15, 1921 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She was a lifetime member of Alpha Chi Omega. She owned and operated the Art Needlework Department of Keith O'Brien in Salt Lake and later operated a needlework business in her home. She held numerous leadership positions in the Relief Society and was active in many civic organizations. She was president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of World War I, and she was a Pink Lady at LDS Hospital. She will be remembered for her wit and humor, her positive outlook on life and her ability to see the good in everyone. People of all ages were attracted to her for her enthusiasm, warmth and love. In addition to her extensive needlework accomplishments and gifts, she loved to travel and was a gardener extraordinaire. In the garden of life many have bloomed under her influence.
She is survived by her son, Reid E. (Marjorie), Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; sons Ralph B., Jr.; and Paul K.; and two grandsons.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 21, 1998 at 12 noon at the Bryan Ward Chapel, 1621 S. 1100 E. Friends and family may call at Mt. View Mortuary, 3115 E. 7800 So. Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning at the Bryan Ward from 10:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. prior to service. Interment in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
