A 27-year-old woman told police she was raped in the parking garage of Crossroads Plaza Saturday night.

The woman said she left the mall on the first floor about 8:30 p.m. and went down some stairs to a lower parking level to look for her car, a Salt Lake police report said. While she was standing in the parking area, a heavy-set man came up behind her and put his arms around her neck in a sort-of choke hold. He pushed the woman to the southwest corner of the parking area where another man came out from behind a parked car and smiled at the woman, the report said.

The men took turns holding the woman against the concrete wall and raping her. They didn't threaten her with a weapon or speak to her at all, the report said. After both men raped her, they ran from the parking garage.

The woman got dressed and went back into the mall. She didn't report the rape until Monday after she'd talked to rape crisis counselors.
