A 24-hour marathon walk will be held Friday and Saturday, May 1-2, to raise money for the Work Activity Center, an organization assisting people with disabilities.

Teams of up to 20 people will compete in the event which begins Friday at 5 p.m. and ends Saturday at 5 p.m. Each team must have a person walking, running or rolling in a wheelchair on the Woods Cross High School track at all times.Money raised will help with Special Olympics involvement, recreational supplies and equipment for the 300 men and women who participate in programs at the Work Activity Center.
