There's plenty to talk about these days in Lindon.

With rapid commercial and residential growth in the area, questions about how to deal with the impact of that growth abound. To accommodate residents who want to discuss these salient issues, the City Council has decided to schedule an open house for the second Thursday of each month.

These informal gatherings, to be held at the City Center, 100 N. State, will last from 7 to 9 p.m. City officials and city employees will be on hand to answer questions and address topics that affect Lindon.

"It's the chance for everyone to take part in the excitement of the city's growth," said city administrator Ott Dameron. "There's so much going on here, the council felt it needed a forum other than city council meetings."
