Police are searching for suspects in the Easter burglaries of three ward houses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Lt. Bob Conner said churches at 800 E. 600 North, 641 S. 400 East and 650 E. 450 South were broken into between 10 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. late Sunday night and Monday morning.Sunday's break-ins marked the fourth church burglary in a week, he said. Doors were kicked in and offices of ecclesiastical leaders were rummaged in all three of the churches. Televisions, video recorders and checkbooks were taken, Conner said.
Church officials are still looking for items that may have been taken, he said.
