Utah Valley State College basketball coach Jeff Reinert has added a couple of state MVP's to the fold, inking Provo's Eric Jackson and Mountain View's Scott Henry to letters of intent Monday.

Henry was the 5A MVP and led Mountain View to the 5A State Championship. He is a 6-foot-7, 170-pound forward who averaged 17.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. He hit 62 percent from the field and was a first-team All-Stater.Jackson was the 4A MVP for the state champion Bulldogs. A 6-4 guard, he tossed in 19.5 points per game and shot 51 percent from the field. He hit 48 percent of his three-point tries. He and Henry were named to the Utah Tip Off Club Frank Layden "Terrific 12" team. Jackson was first-team All-State, and was the Region 6 co-MVP.
