A destroyed car stands in the Slovenian town of Bovec Sunday, after a strong quake shook a section of south-central Europe, toppling a 16th-century church tower and dozens of chimneys. The earthquake shook a broad area, setting Venice and Vienna swaying. The earthquake was centered in the Alps in western Slovenia and had a preliminary magnitude of 5.5, according to Italy's National Geophysics Institute. No one was injured in the quake.
