Here is a list of musical performance on tap for the week:

- THE UTAH STATE UNIVERSITY CELLO CHOIR will perform April 13, at the Eccles Conference Center in Logan, 7:30 p.m. This concert is free and open to the public. For more information, call 435-797-3015.- THE BYU UNIVERSITY CHORALE will perform April 14 in the de Jong Concert Hall on the BYU campus at 7:30 p.m. The performance, which is free and open to the public, will be conducted by Paul Broomhead, a BYU music faculty member, and Kenneth Plain, a graduate student. The performance is free to the public.

- HARRIS FINE ARTS CENTER presents String Chamber Night at the Madsen Recital Hall on the BYU campus April 14, 7:30 p.m. Chamber music students will perform the likes of Beethoven, Brahms and Schubert in quarters, quintets, and a piano trio. Admission is free.

- THE BYU MUSEUM OF ART MUSIC SERIES will feature "Darena," a Balkan women's choir, April 16, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Home Study Center at the museum. Tickets are $3, $2 for BYU employees, or $1 with a MOA passport or BYU student ID and will be available at the door.

- THE YOUNG ARTIST CHAMBER PLAYERS will perform Wednesday, April 15, at 7:30 in the Temple Square Assembly Hall. They will present three works for various combinations of instruments: the theme and variations from Schubert's "Trout" Quintet, excerpts from Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21, and the "Serenade in C" by Tchaikovsky. Soloists will be pianist Lawrence Gee and Andra Dingman, flute. Admission is free.

- THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH A CAPELLA CHOIR will sing music by Mendelssohn, Handel and Haydn. Twentieth-century composers will also be represented. The group will perform at the Temple Square Assembly Hall April 17 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

- THE UTAH STATE SYMPHONIC BAND AND WIND ORCHESTRA will travel from Logan for a concert featuring compositions or arrangements by Persichetti, Copland, Vaughan Williams and Arnold. Cindy Dewey will be the piano soloist. The performance will be April 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Temple Square Assembly Hall.

- THE WESTMINSTER SINGERS, CHAMBER SINGERS AND ORCHESTRA will perform April 18, at the Jewett Center at 7:30 p.m. They will render their seasonal favorites. Admission is free.

- THE MURRAY SYMPHONY presents its Spring Concert, April 18, at 8:00 p.m., in the Murray High School auditorium, 5440 S. State Street. They will be performing Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue", Wagner's "The Overture to the Flying Dutchman" andTchaikovsky's "Capriccio Italien," among many others. Tickets will be available at the door.

- THE SWANEE SINGERS will present their Annual Spring Concert Saturday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the East High School auditorium. Donations will be accepted.

- SUSAN DUEHLMEIR will present a solo recital at the University of Utah West Institute of Religion (300 South and University Street) on Saturday, April 18, at 3:00 p.m. There will be a nominal fee.

- "LOVE SONGS FOR THE HOMELESS," a Benefit Concert for the Travelers Aid Society, will be presented April 18 at St. James' Episcopal Church, 7486 S. Union Park Ave., Mid-vale. An evening of light Operetta and Musical Theatre will be performed. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Donations are suggested.
