Lois Walters Parker, 88, passed away April 9, 1998 in Salt Lake City.
Born June 24, 1909 in Oakley, Utah to Alex and Clara Peterson Evans. Married August 25, 1925 to David Walters, died 1943. Married Raymond Parker in 1949, he later passed away in 1970.She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She retired after 20 years of service with First Federal Savings and Loan. She enjoyed gardening, travel and her cats. Lois was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary to VFW and Royal Neighbors of America.
Survived by daughters Etta Mae (Bill) Simpson, Afton Durfee; seven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Zelda Green, Virgina Huggard; and brother Lester. Preceded in death by both husbands, daughter Hazel Jones Ogier, and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, April 13, 1998, 1 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Friends and family may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, from 11:45-12:45 prior to graveside services.
