Workers from Buehler Block clear State Street at 5600 South in Murray early on Tuesday afternoon after a load of concrete slabs shifted on a transport trailer and slid off. The fallen slabs knocked a traffic signal light into the street and damaged several vehicles at the Larry H. Miller Chevrolet dealership. The city power company responded, along with Murray police. Officers at the scene estimated that the damage caused by the mishap will exceed $40,000.
