Mary Leone Ramshaw Player, age 82, died April 6, 1998 in Taylorsville, Utah.
She was born December 14, 1915 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Otis and Eliza Jane Ward Ramshaw. Married Wayne Charles Player, June 19, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Mary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as ward and stake Relief Society president, counselor in stake Young Women organization, teacher in Young Women, Primary organist, worker in the Salt Lake and Jordan River Temple for many years, accompanied her husband to preside over the Central States Mission 1962-65. Her greatest joys were her husband, her family and playing the piano. She is a loving, devoted wife, wonderful mother and cherished grandmother. The highlights in her life were being a mission mother and a trip to the Holy Land with her husband and close friends.

Survived by husband, Wayne Charles Player; children, Marilyn (Herman) Brock, Conway, Arkansas; Richard W. Player, Salt Lake City; Barbara (Gary) Tibbitts, Taylorsville; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Cora Hazelgren. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Clarence and Ed Ramshaw; son, Frederick Lynn Player.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon at the Taylorsville 1st Ward, 1399 West 4800 South. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.
