Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Eileen Loertscher Hancock, 67, passed away April 5, 1998 after a long illness.
Born May 28, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Gottlieb and Aline Emma Bruderer Loertscher. Married John Morris Hancock, July 7, 1951 in Farmington, Utah. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Survived by her daughter, Aline Babette Tali; sons, Jack Lee Hancock, Robert Aaron Hancock, David Laurence Hancock, Paul Ivan Hancock and Matthew Gene Hancock; 17 grandchildren; brother, George Milton Loertscher; sister, Margaret Cowan. Preceded in death by her husband, John Morris Hancock; and sisters, Phyllis Aline McNeal and Iris Ranck.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 noon at Kearns 4th Ward, 4660 West 5015 South. Friends may call Thursday, 5-7 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
