Lois Elaine Day Rogerson, age 72, passed away Thursday, April 2, 1998, at her son's home in Fruit Heights.
She was born February 26, 1926 in Fillmore, Utah, the daughter of Elmer and Annie Laurie Brunson Day. She married J. Bryan Rogerson on May 3, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away on August 3, 1985.Lois was reared and educated in Fillmore and graduated from Millard High School. She lived in Fillmore until 1945 and in Salt Lake City from 1945 to 1956, then moved to Kaysville. She was a member of the Kaysville 8th LDS Ward, and was a devoted wife and loving mother. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, and gardening.
She is survived by two sons, Jan (Renee) Rogerson, Fruit Heights; Terry V. (Lynette) Rogerson, Layton; and three grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, James Day and Don Day; and sister, Fay Day Edlen, all of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 6, 1998, at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville LDS Rock Chapel, 25 South 200 East. Friends and family may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, and at the church on Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
