Michael Jackson's wife, Debbie Rowe Jackson, gave birth Friday to their second child, a girl, at Spaulding Pain Medical Clinic in Beverly Hills, a source close to his organization said. The hospital refused to comment.

Paris Michael Katherine Jackson was born at 6:30 a.m. and weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, the source said.

"I wanted to name her Michael after Michael, but Michael said no," she told KNBC-TV in November. "So we decided Paris because that's where she was conceived."

Jackson and his wife were married in November 1996. Their first child, named Prince, was born Feb. 13, 1997.
