Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and dear friend, Annetta W. Billis, age 93, passed away April 1, 1998, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born August 6, 1904 in Sunnyside, Utah, to Thomas and Lena Williams. Married Louis K. Billis in Castledale, Utah. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church and active in several organizations in the Greek Community.She will be remembered for her free-spirited way of loving and giving to everyone and especially for her sense of humor and giving to everyone and especially for her sense of humor and positive outlook on life. The secret of life according Nana: "Find one thing to laugh about every day!".
She is survived by her sons, Mike Billis and Thomas Billis (Gerri); seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Also her sisters, Violet Owens and Mae Malaska. Preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4, 1998 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 279 So. 300 W. at 11 a.m. Family and friends may call Friday evening 6-7:30 p.m. at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 E. 700 So., Salt Lake City. Prayer service at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
