A Hispanic media group says it will continue to monitor the Walt Disney Co. despite suspending its yearlong boycott of the entertainment giant.

The National Hispanic Media Coalition announced Friday that it was suspending the boycott against Disney and ABC-TV, which Disney owns, for making strides in minority hiring."It has to be very clear to Disney/ABC, if it slides back to its old discriminatory ways, we will quickly reinstate our action against it," Alex Nogales, the coalition's national chair, said in a statement.
