Political personalities will discuss the status of women in the Utah Legislature during a panel discussion at Westminster College Monday.

"A Women's Voice in the Utah Legislature," is the topic. The discussion starts at 5:30 p.m. in the college's Gore Lecture Hall, 1840 S. 1300 East. News 4 Utah political reporter Chris Vanocur will moderate."This panel discussion will be a wonderful opportunity to recap what was accomplished by women legislators, lobbyists and others who have played a part in the 1998 Legislature," said Kathy Hillis, vice president of First Security Bank Women's Financial Services. The company is co-sponsoring the discussion with the college.

Sen. Millie Peterson, D-West Valley City; Rep. Sheryl Allen, R-Bountiful; Rep. Afton Bradshaw, R-Salt Lake City; and Deseret News political reporter Lucy Dillon are among those on the panel.
