Ken Bell passed away March 22, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah, due to complications of surgery.
He was born November 9, 1957 in Covina, California, to Max D. and Helen Morris Bell. He married Kathy Kuzmic, July 23, 1981 in the Manti Temple. Ken was a High Priest in the Mtn. Shadows 4th Ward and served as it's clerk. He was an Eagle Scout and served an LDS mission to Merida, Mexico. He was an avid collector of antiques and memorabilia. Ken twice received radio promotion's highest national award (equivalent to an Oscar). The radio business was his passion for 17 years. He was the creator of numerous promotions and campaigns, winning many awards and helping build many businesses. Ken fulfilled his lifelong dream of having his own marketing agency - MBA Marketing. Laughter was Ken's constant companion that affected all who knew him. He would light up any room or any conversation he entered. Ken will be irreplaceable.He is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Jamie, K.C., Amanda, Landon; parents, Max and Helen Bell, Covina, CA; sisters, Susan (Curtis) Germany, Pleasanton, CA; DeAnne (Danny) Anderson, Ventura, CA; brother, Dan (Connie) Bell, Taylorsville, UT; many nieces and nephews that Ken loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the LDS Chapel, 8136 So. 3400 W. (Old Bingham Highway), where friends and family may call Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Road, under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
