Mary Dorius Wright Taylor passed through the veil to eternity on March 21, 1998.

She was born on June 10, 1917, to Brent Wright and Mary Dorius in Salt Lake City. Raised in the Forest Dale area, she had many wonderful experiences with family and friends. She graduated with her twin sister, Ruth, from South High in 1935, and attended the University of Utah where she met her husband, W. Vaughn Taylor. They were married on January 29, 1941, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. As an officer in the Air Force, he took her to many exciting places during their marriage, finally settling in Springville four years ago.She found great joy in her church callings, which included Relief Society president, compassionate service, and Primary. She was a gifted seamstress and artist, and loved sharing those talents. She loved and appreciated people and had friends all over the world.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ruth; and brothers, Franklin, and Charles.

She is survived by her husband, W. Vaughn Taylor of Springville; two sons, Vaughn and wife, Linda, of Holladay; and J. Charles and wife, Cheryl, of Hanford, CA; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard D. Wright of Applegate, CA; and John D. Wright of Holladay, UT.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 1998, at 11 a.m. in the Kolob 8th Ward Chapel, 840 South 400 East, Springville. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, or Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will take place in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
