Advance registration is required for boys to attend Cub Country in Mill Creek Canyon. And money can be saved by signing up in advance.

Themes for the camp, which runs from June 13 through Aug. 8, are Fort Liberty, Camp Mission Possible, Indy's Lost City, North to Alaska, Wild Kingdom and Twilight Camps.One day at a camp costs $10 per boy if paid before May 1. It costs $11.50 per day after that date. Adult leaders (two are required with each group) are charged $3.

A higher registration fee is charged for the Webelos overnight resident camp, "Gold Fever," which runs Aug. 6-8. The cost for three days and two nights is $55 per boy and $40 per adult. Webelos Quest, a one-day, two-day or overnight camp, costs $10 per boy for one day. Two days costs $20, and an overnight camp is $11 per team of one boy and one adult.

Boys may be registered at the Scout Service Center of the Great Salt Lake Council, 525 Foothill Drive, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Registrations can also be made at South Valley Scout Shop, 648 E. 9400 South, Sandy. That office is closed Monday but is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
