Adelaide Barnett, 85, died March 18, 1998 in Firth, Idaho at the home of her son.
She was born October 11, 1912 in Kanosh, Utah to Walter Isaac and Mary Jane Topham Paxton. She married Lawrin Crapo. He died. Married Alva Bowen. Later divorced. Married Ray Barnett. He died.She lived many years in Fillmore, Utah. Moved to Roosevelt, Utah in 1945. Then moved to Ronan, Montana in 1955 and then to Ione, Washington in 1957. Retired and moved to Camarillo, California. She moved then to Oroville, California after her husband, Ray Barnett's death, where she returned to school and graduated with her High School diploma as valedictorian of her class at the age of 75.
Survived by children, Marlene Crapo, American Fork, UT; Merlin Crapo, Newman Lake, WA; Ray Crapo, Provo, UT; Dean Crapo, Idaho Falls, ID; Charles Dennis Crapo, Clarkston, WA; Gordon Crapo, Firth, ID; Andrew Walter Crapo, Scotia, NY; 33 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Walter Paxton, Santa Rosa, CA; Lora Paxton, Proville, CA; Reva Paxton, Sunnyvale, CA; Albert Paxton, Fillmore.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 23, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Fillmore Stake Center where friends may call Monday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Burial in the Fillmore City Cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary, Fillmore.
