A Philippine Airlines Airbus A-320 crashed into several houses Monday after it overshot a runway in Bacolod, killing at least three people on the ground and injuring the pilot and scores of its passengers. The Airbus plowed through a runway barrier, crossed a creek and smashed into a row of houses and a disco in Bacolod's main commercial and entertainment center before stopping. The plane's two engines and wheels broke off and fell in the creek, witnesses said.
