A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured when a snowmobile ran her over Saturday near Fairview, Sanpete County.

The girl, Lisa Worlton, Lehi, remained in serious condition at Primary Children's Medical Center Saturday night, the hospital reported.She was riding on a tube tied to the back of another snowmobile when she was hit, police said. Another snowmobiler didn't see her and ran her over about noon in Farview Canyon, located about 100 miles south of Salt Lake.

Paramedics transported her by medical helicopter to the Salt Lake City hospital, according to the Sanpete County Sheriff's Office.
