Folk singer Lucy Kaplansky will present "A Night of Acoustic Celebration," a concert to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Utah County, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at the Sundance resort screening room.

Kaplansky's CD "Flesh and Bones" was rated one of the top 10 CDs of 1996 by the Boston Globe and has been noted by critics as deserving a place in the top tier of contemporary singers.All proceeds from the concert will benefit the "House that Congress Built" in Provo.

Habitat for Humanity has set a goal to build five homes in 1998, one of which is the "House that Congress Built," sponsored by Rep. Chris Cannon. Habitat is also needing volunteers with construction skills willing to supervise or participate in a work day.
