Frank Godnick, 84, passed away March 17, 1998 at his home due to cancer.
He was born December 29, 1913 in Murray, Utah to Anton Godnik and Anna Puchar Godnik. Married Rose Mismash on March 20, 1934 in Salt Lake City. Member of Catholic Church, St. Vincent Parrish. Enjoyed working in his yard and with beautiful flowers. He loved taking his wife to Wendover and for a drive through the Uintah Mountains (Mirror Lake). His hobbies included the Jazz games, fishing, bowling, being with his friends, and loving his dog "Molly".We wish to express our thanks to Sharon Kammeyer and Frank Mismash who devoted a lot of their time to help care for Frank. Thanks and appreciation to Vista Care, Sandy Garity, Mary Ellen Rowley, and Dr. Harker, for the excellent care given to him and the compassion you shared with all of us. We could not have done it without you.
Survived by wife, Rose; daughter, Rosie Godnick; sisters, Margaret Castleman, Omaha, NB; Anne Nielsen, Buhl, ID.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed, John, Tony, Jimmy; sister, Veda Custick.
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 20, 1998, 11 a.m. at the Murray City Cemetery 5600 S. Vine St. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 pm at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 S. State St. and Friday 10-10:45 am.
