Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed on at age 84, on March 15, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born in Clayton, Yorkshire, England to Sam and Annie Elizabeth Spinks Craven on October 6, 1913.She arrived in the U.S. on September 26, 1920 to become a member of the LDS Church. Taught Jr. Sunday School and was a Relief Society visiting teacher for many years.

Worked for Sweet's and Glade candy companies. Also an Avon representative. She then worked as a housekeeper for many years. She enjoyed entertaining and welcoming people into her home. She was an excellent cook.

Married Jesse H. Salisbury, Sept. 23, 1936; later divorced. Married Franklin Farr Abbott, Sept. 16, 1944; married James A. Wilkinson, June 19, 1964; married Paul Kendall; married Bryon L. Harsh; all preceded her in death.

Survived by children, Alice Nadine Cooper (Therlo), Sunset, UT; Jesse Craven Salisbury (Karen); Brent Farr Abbott, Steven Craven Abbott (Bobbie), all Salt Lake City area; Frank Lynn Abbott (Carolyn), West Jordan, UT; 14 grandchildren and eight and one half great-grandchildren; sister, Lilly C. Blackburn, Hayward, CA.

Funeral services Thursday, March 19th, at 11 a.m., in the Pioneer Stake Center, 1401 West 700 South. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Church on Thursday, 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Fort Douglas Post Cemetery.
