I, Lillie E. Paxton Halsey, died March 15, 1998.

I was born September 26, 1893, in Kanosh, Utah, to James C. and Ellen Adell Leavitt Paxton. I was the first born in a family of seven.I have a brother, Prime Paxton (Irene), and sister, Ethel P. White, still living. I married John Albert Halsey in June of 1921. He died April 23, 1966. We had three sons: James Leo (Elaine), William Clark, and Albert Cleve. Leo is my only surviving son. A stepdaughter, Alberta Shountz, is still surviving.

Member of the LDS Church. I have lived in Kanosh all of my life. I lived alone from 1966 until I turned 100 years of age. Have lived with my son Leo and his wife Elaine since February of 1994.

Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by only grandson, Robyn Halsey; two sisters, Adella Ahlstrom and Dora Whatcott. Two brothers died in infancy along with two stepdaughters and one stepson.

My requests are no viewing, no funeral, a short graveside service.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at 12 noon in the Kanosh City Cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary, Fillmore.
