Two offshore supply vessels collided off the coast, capsizing one of them, and three people were missing Monday. Four other crewmen were rescued.

The boats, the Bass River owned by Trico Marine and the C Captain owned by Alpha Marine, ran into each Sunday evening on the Gulf of Mexico about 10 miles southwest of Grand Isle, the Coast Guard said.The boats carry supplies and crew members to offshore oil rigs in the Gulf.

Two of the rescued crew members were hospitalized.
