A boy was injured while riding a go-kart Saturday afternoon.
Dillon Webb, 5, was riding a go-cart about 3:30 p.m. when he ran into a parked vehicle on the driveway of his house, 1621 W. 1330 North, said Davis County Sheriff's Lt. Roger Anderson.During the crash, the boy apparently hit the bumper and tailpipe of the vehicle with his face and upper body, Anderson said. The boy, who may have been riding with another person, was not been wearing a helmet.
Dillon's mother, who was at home and is a registered nurse, assessed his injuries and decided he could have sustained a skull fracture, Anderson said.
The boy remained conscious and was airlifted to Primary Children's Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
