Nolanda Sue Hill, the one-time confidante, business partner and self-described lover of the late Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, was indicted Friday on conspiracy and tax fraud charges.

The Dallas businesswoman and Kenneth Charles White, an employee of her company, were accused in the nine-count indictment of conspiring to defraud the Internal Revenue Service between 1990 and 1995 and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. between 1989 and 1993.They also were accused of aiding and assisting in preparing false federal income tax returns for Hill and her company, Corridor Broadcasting Corp., for tax years 1991 to 1993, and White was charged with making a false statement to the FDIC in 1992.
