Myron Garth Whitesides, age 60, passed away March 10, 1998 in Littleton, CO, after a valiant battle with cancer.
He was born December 17, 1937 in Pocatello, ID, the son of Myron D. and Eve Whitesides. He married peggy West, August 14, 1959. Their marriage was solemnized June 17, 1965 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.He graduated from Davis High School. He lived most of his life in Layton, and retired from HAFB after 37 years of service. After retirement he moved to Star Valley, WY.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; his children, Melanie (Bill) Boschetto, Kamala Whitesides, and Nathan Whitesides; his grandchildren, Justin, Cole, and Karlee Boschetto; his mother, Eve Whitesides; his sisters, Loa Gast, Virgie Arnold, Clarice Gentry; and his brother, Mark Whitesides.
He was a member of the Southglenn 2nd Ward in Littleton, CO.
His father, Myron D. Whitesides, his grandparents, Mark Pratt and Olive H. Adams Whitesides, and William and Ivy Watts Russell, preceded him in death.
A viewing for friends and family will be held 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 1998 at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. Graveside services will be held Monday the 16th at 1 p.m. at Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Rd.
