Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Ethel Louise Robinson Cox, age 93, passed away peacefully March 10, 1998, in Salt Lake City.

Ethel Louise Robinson was born September 17, 1904, in Lexington, Missouri, the daughter of Theodore Jackson Robinson and Beatrice Louise Hughes. She married Elbert Melvin Cox on June 29, 1904 in Kansas City Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1958.Ethel was born and raised in Missouri and moved to Salt Lake City in 1927. She had a great compassion for people, and showed that by her devotion to the people she served in the Cox Employment Agency. Ethel was a member of The Eastern Star. Ethel was a kind and loving individual who was devoted to her family; she was held in high esteem by all who knew her. Her passing saddens our hearts and leaves a great void in our lives.

Survivors include one son and two daughters, Merry (Con) Hartsock, St. George, Utah; Betty Louise Cox Preston, Lake Jackson, Texas; William Allen Cox, Salt Lake City, Utah; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Harriet Harding, Leeton, Missouri; Clara (Elmer) Harding, Leeton, Missouri; George Robinson, Apple Valley, California; Kathryn Davison, Apple Valley, California; Jack (Mary) Robinson, Florida.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 12, 1998, at 3 p.m., at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 500 So. 1350 E. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Mortuary.
