Michael Jackson is pressing on with his plans for a $500 million amusement park at an old military airport in Warsaw, Poland, even though a commission rejected the location.

Jackson may go to Poland this month - two months earlier than planned - to discuss the park, but it isn't a last-ditch effort to save the project, Jackson's Warsaw representative said.Mayor Marcin Swiecicki supports the park, but an Interior Ministry commission said last week it opposed the location and would offer only 160 acres for it instead of the requested 216 acres.

Polish newspapers reported that the decision could scuttle the park plans, and that Jackson was rushing to Poland to save them.
