Reed Bowman, age 93, passed away March 8, 1998 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 27, 1903 in Logan, Utah, the son of John Henry and Anna Gledhill Bowman. He married Ingrid Proband, June 30, 1940 in Farmington, Utah. He retired from Western Union after 40 years of service. He was very proud that his father was the contractor for the Salt Lake City and County Building. He was interested in sports and in art and gardening. Member of the LDS Church.
REST} He is survived by his wife; daughter, Marilyn Hruska; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a brother, Harold, sister, Venice Lund.
He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 12, 1998 at 11 a.m. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 No. Main. Interment - Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the American Heart Association.
