Howard Reuben Fuller, 81, died March 8, 1998 at his home of Cancer/Parkinson's Disease.
He was born May 29, 1916 in Tremonton, the son of Reuben Henry and Edith P. Adams Fuller. He married Ina Claire Phillips September 19, 1940 in Faust Valley, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized one year later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died September 10, 1983. He married June Yates Scothern, November 30, 1985 in the Logan LDS Temple.Howard was reared and educated in Tremonton and graduated from Bear River High School. He owned and operated his farm in Tremonton and was employed with Ewer Plumbing for 20 years and Thiokol for 23 years.
He was a past member of the Box Elder Sheriff Posse and had a great love of horses. In later years he and his wife, June, spent their winters in St. George.
He was a High Priest in the Tremonton 3rd Ward LDS Church and served in the past as Explorer Leader, Scout Leader, member of the MIA Presidency, Third Ward Bishopric, President of the Seventy Quorum, Genealogy leader and teacher.
Howard served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed in the Philippines from 1945-1946.
Surviving are his wife, June of Tremonton; three sons, two daughters, and their spouses, Kenneth (Nedra Lynne) Fuller, Riverton; Niles (Leola) Fuller, American Falls, Idaho; Elda (David) Jones, Clearfield; Roy (Nancy) Fuller, Tremonton; Myla (John) Prendiville, Sturgeon Bay, WI; 46 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and seven stepchildren and their spouses, Monte (Sandy) Scothern, Syracuse; Aralee Scothern, Sandy; Jean (Jeff) Bonham, Ogden; Ann (Dave) Child, Tremonton; Sally (Don) Waite, No. Ogden; LaDawn (Craig) Sorensen, East Garland; Norman (Julie) Scothern, Tremonton. Also surviving are one brother and two sisters, Darald (Vera) Fuller, Tremonton; Dora Nunnelly, Salt Lake City; Ora (John) Canfield, East Layton. He was preceded in death by one brother, Alvin Fuller.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13, 1998, 11 a.m. at the Tremonton 3rd and 8th Ward Chapel, 9590 No. 6800 W., with Bishop's Counselor Howard Rawlinson officiating. Friends may call Thursday, March 12, from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 9-10:15 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 No. 100 E., Tremonton. Interment in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery with Military Honors.
