Lillian Daniels Brown, 84, of Annabella, Utah, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away March 8, 1998, in Richfield, Utah, after a long illness.
She was born September 19, 1913, in Annabella, Utah, to William S. and Lillian Pearl Gauchat Daniels. Lillian married Virge N. Brown, November 29, 1933, in the Manti LDS Temple.She was six years old when her mother died. She was then raised by her father and stepmother, Elizabeth Daniels. As a young girl she, along with her brothers and sisters, worked on her Dad's farm. She also played on the Annabella girls baseball team.
Lillian and Virge enjoyed being together at their cabin and spending time in the mountains.
Lillian was an active member of the LDS Church where she served as Primary and Sunday School secretary and as a teacher. Later in her life she demonstrated great courage in dealing with her pain and illnesses. Lillian was a grand, loving, compassionate, and caring lady who always cared about others before herself, especially her husband and family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Virge of Annabella; two sons, Roger B. (Gloria) Brown of Heber City, Richard K. (Lannie) Brown of St. George; 13 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; sisters, Delynn Hansen of Central Valley, Verla Breinholt of Richfield; brothers, Joe A. (Merlene) Daniels of Salt Lake City, Robert S. (Jeannine) Daniels of Richfield, Roy Dean (Georgia) Daniels of Salt Lake City.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bliss and Maurice; sisters, Joan Rasmussen, Madeline Carr.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 1998, at 1 p.m. in the Annabella 1st LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call Wednesday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Annabella Cemetery. Funeral directors, Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, UT.
