Margaret June Bertoch Young quietly passed away on Saturday, March 7, 1998 after a long, gallant battle to live. She was living proof that the spirit is stronger than the body.

June was born on June 21, 1920 in Hunter, Utah to Vivian and Hazel Bertoch. She married Clore Edgar Young on December 31, 1943. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on February 5, 1968. Clore preceded her in death on November 12, 1979. June had many, many wonderful talents, but her greatest talent of all was being a mother and grandmother. There were no children on this earth that could equal the stature of her children and grandchildren in her eyes. They truly were her pride and joy; and, they all adored her and enjoyed many wonderful hours with her. She was a grand lady and we were proud to call her Mom and Grandma. She is survived by her son, Greg (Jenny) Young and her daughter, Judy (Paul) Fuwell; six grandchildren, Nicole (Nate) Green, Natalie Young, Claire Luthi, Scott Luthi, Amber Fuwell, and Shelley Fuwell; one great-grandson, Michael. Also survived by her sisters, Hazel Edler, Janet Heyn, and Shirley (Willard) Homer; brother, Richard (Carol) Bertoch; as well as many loving nieces and nephews, in particular Barbara Boynton whom June loved as a daughter. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Philip Clore; brothers, Vivian Bertoch, Frank Bertoch, and Philip Bertoch; and sisters, Thelma Brown, Adena Rydalch, and Anne Salmenson.
