Rosa R. Lobato, 70, passed away at her West Valley home on March 4, 1998.

Born on January 18, 1928 in Arabela, New Mexico, Rosa was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many callings. Dedicated to helping others, she received great joy as a visiting teacher.Children were of utmost importance to Rosa. She served as Primary president, PTA president at Lakeridge Elementary School, teacher's aide at Webster Elementary, and was active in the Girl Scouts of America.

She enjoyed quilting and handiwork and participated in numerous activities at the Magna Senior Center.

Survived by three daughters and two sons, Susie (Adam) Vasquez of Palm Springs, CA; Frank (Jane) Lobato, Magna; Felix Joe Lobato, Seattle, WA; Ramona Lobato, Salt Lake City; Dee Dee Lobato (Jim Tarr), Salt Lake City; sister, Boni Femiza of Tucson, AZ; five grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the Hunter West Stake Center, 7035 West 3605 South, WVC, at 11 a.m. Monday, March 9, 1998, where family and friends may call from 10 a.m. Friends may also call at Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd, on Sunday, 6 to 8 p.m. Internment at Memorial Estates will follow the services.
