Dora Deyo White passed away March 5, 1998 in her home of lung cancer. She was the widow and co-pilot of Orson W. White, M.D.

Dora was born on July 18, 1920 in a small cabin in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to Margaret and Josiah Deyo. She moved with her family to Salt Lake City where she graduated from East High School. She worked many years as a personal buyer at ZCMI Department Store, until she married Orson W. White on August 24, 1955. Together they raised two children, Laurie and Wayne.Family, sewing, gardening and travel were her passions. She was a member of the LDS Church and one of the first members of the Cottonwood Country Club.

Adoringly she is remembered and survived by her two grandsons, Michael Wayne McRae and Robert Orson McRae; daughter, Laurie and her husband Michael; nieces, nephews and many dear friends. The joy in her life, Wayne, preceded her in death as did her husband, eight brothers and sisters.

At her request, private graveside services will be held. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the John Moran Eye Center, Orson and Dora White Memorial Fund, 50 North Medical Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. 84112. Friends and family are invited to an open house visitation on Monday, March 9, 1998, 6-8 p.m. at the home of Michael and Laurie McRae, 3835 E. Brockbank Drive (4485 S.)
