The Springville Museum of Art will present soprano Rachel Youngberg at a free concert Wednesday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the museum.
Youngberg will perform her favorite tunes from "Phantom of the Opera," "Les Miserables" and "Titanic," as well as other classical and modern pieces. She is a veteran of the stage, receiving her first role with the San Jose Civic Light Opera in "Evita" at age 7.She sang in last year's Utah Opera presentation of "Don Giovanni" and was most recently seen as Eliza Doolittle in "My Fair Lady." She hopes to attend Julliard School of Music this fall.
Pianist Jeremy Showgren, Mapleton, will play some solo works including renditions to be announced by the museum. He has accompanied many local productions, including "Les Miserables" for the SCERA.
