Clarence Merrill Fisher, 86, died March 4, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born January 26, 1912 to Joseph Armstrong Fisher and Margret Mae Merrill. He married ElNora Atkinson, August 10, 1932 in Bountiful, Utah. He was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Attended Erving Jr. High and East High School. He participated in sports, especially baseball and was a member of the State High School championship team. With his dear wife, ElNora, he moved to San Jose, California in 1943 and they returned to live in Salt Lake in 1947. Salt Lake remained home until 1961 when they again make San Jose their home. The mountains called the family back to Salt Lake in 1975, where he lived until his death. Clary enjoyed life and especially people, which made him a natural at his sales career. His love for golf provided the exercise and the socialization that helped keep him young at heart. Member of the LDS Church.Survived by sons, Merrill C. Fisher and Stephen R. Fisher; brother, David Fisher; sister, Bathsheba Robison; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, and daughter, Karen S. Fisher.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 7, 1998 at 12 noon, Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 "N" Street (4th Avenue).
