"Mormon Women and the Environment" will be the topic of a Women's Research Institute Women's Studies colloquium lecture Thursday, March 12, at noon in 3208 Smith Family Living Center at Brigham Young University.

JoAnn Valenti, professor of communications, and Dan Stout, assistant professor of communications, will present their research. The public is invited to attend the lecture.Valenti specializes in environmental communications, and Stout's recent work focuses on media use within religious audiences.

The lecture is sponsored by the Women's Research Institute, which seeks to promote the scholarly investigation of female perspectives and experiences in diverse cultural and historical contexts.
