Jason Richey scored a game-high 20 points, including two free throws with 4.9 seconds left in overtime, to give San Diego State a 60-57 victory over Wyoming on Tuesday in the first round of the Western Athletic Conference tournament.

Trailing 58-57, Wyoming's Gregg Sawyer missed a 7-foot jump shot with :06 to play. Richey rebounded and was fouled, setting up his game-winning free throws.The game went into overtime after Justin French made two free throws to make it 51-51. The Aztecs had a chance to win in regulation, but Richey was called for an offensive foul on his drive to the basket with 2.1 seconds to play.

UNLV 64, HAWAII 59: Brian Keefe tied a season high with five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 19 points to lead UNLV.

Tyrone Nesby scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Rebels. Issiah Epps also grabbed eight rebounds while Mark Dickel had nine assists.

Hawaii was led by Alika Smith, who had 15 points. Erin Galloway and Robbie Robinson had 12 points each. Micah Kroeger led Hawaii with 10 rebounds.

UNLV trailed 46-45 with 10:35 remaining but rallied, outscoring Hawaii 15-5 in 8:52 to take a 60-51 lead with 1:43 to play. Hawaii cut UNLV's lead to 63-59 with under 30 seconds left.

SMU 76, COLORADO STATE 71: Willie Davis hit two free throws with 7.9 seconds remaining to give Southern Methodist the victory.

After fighting back from a 25-point deficit, Colorado State narrowed SMU's lead to 74-71 with 10 seconds to play. But Brian Christiansen's off-balance 3-point attempt was off the mark. Davis was fouled in the scramble for the ball, and he sealed the win.
