Edward Thomas Pearson, 84, died Monday, March 2, 1998 of pneumonia.
He was born in Boneta, Utah, August 3, 1913 to Neils and Edith Harmon Pearson. He attended schools in Altamont, Utah. He married Velma McBride on October 10, 1940 in Walla Walla, Washington.Ed had resided in Murray, Utah for 46 years where he was active in the LDS Church, Boy Scouts, AARP and the Heritage Senior Citizens. He was retired from the UP&L Co. after 25 and a half years of service.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Leslie James, of Burley, ID; two daughters, Suzy Garrard, Jerome, ID; and Merla Severe, Burley, ID; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both his parents; two brothers; two sisters; one son and one daughter.
Ed brought joy and laughter to all our lives and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 6, 1998, at 1 p.m. in the Murray 16th Ward chapel, 619 W. 5750 South. Friends may call Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
