Lewis Dale Cox, age 68, passed away March 1, 1998, after a lingering illness.
Born October 12, 1929 in Consumers, Utah, son of Louis Elmer and Alta Day Cox. Married Patsy Jean Jones, March 18, 1950 in Orangeville, Utah; later solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church. Worked for Union Pacific Railroad for over 40 years.Survived by wife, Patsy; daughter, Dalene (Michael) Mann; grandchildren, Cameron Nepolis, Devan Mann and Carl Mann; brother, Neldon (Sherry) Cox, Clearfield; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sisters, LaDean Allred and Verna Corbett.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon at the Granger 18th Ward, 3835 South 2800 West. Friends may call Wednesday, 7-8:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Utah Diabetes Association. Interment, Price City Cemetery, Friday, 12 noon.
